The main difference is container size
The 510 includes a 48-ounce container, which Vitamix positions for individual servings and midsize blends. The 750 includes a 64-ounce low-profile container for larger batches. That makes the choice about the amount you usually make, not a universal household-size rule. [2] [3]

Programs and self-cleaning
Both models have Smoothie, Hot Soup, and Frozen Dessert recipe programs. The 750 adds Dip & Spread and a dedicated Self-Cleaning Program. Self-Cleaning is separate from the four recipe programs, so it is not a fifth recipe program. [3] [4]
The 510 can be cleaned with warm water, dish soap, and variable speed, but it does not have the 750's automatic cleaning program. [4]
Motor, dimensions, and weight
Vitamix lists a 2 HP motor, 9 × 7.5 × 17.5 inch dimensions, and a 9.6-pound weight for the 510. For the 750, it lists a 2.2 HP motor, 9 × 7.5 × 18 inch dimensions, and a 10-pound weight. [2] [3]
